Thank you Cat Reed for accepting these awards at the recent WPCS AGM on our behalf ,as a stud we are honoured to have won them. The Paddock Trophy for the Welsh B In hand Sire Ratings and the Teify Trophy for the Ridden Sire Ratings was won by our stallion Russetwood Elation and his son Cadlanvalley Buzby was also awarded the Moelgarnedd Trophy for the best Welsh B at Olympia. We would also like to thank everyone at Nebo Stud for bringing these back to Ceridigion for usto pick up.

Buzby will be going to Stallion A1 Services Twemlows shortly so that we can take frozen semen from him .He has the most fantastic temprement  and we feel would also be ideal to cross with other breeds to produce dressage ponies as he has the most fantastic free elevated movement. Anyone interested please do get in touch.

The yearling colt Cadlanvalley Masterclass by Cadlanvalley Buzby x Waxwing Princess Royal won at the South Yorkshire WPCS Assoc show then again the following weekend at Towerlands Silver Medal show . Congratulations to his owner Janpete Stud and abely shown by Steph Mansfield

Also succesfull this weekend was Cadlanvalley Allegro owned by Sarah Drake and ridden by her daughter Bel when they won a strong Junior Class at the PUK Spring Festival Qualifying for the Royal International Horse Show

It was a last minute decision to attend Area 9 B at Summerhouse but worth the trip. Buzby won a strong A and B Ridden class and qualified for the Royal International Horse Show then taking the R I Championship against all other breeds. Well done Libby superb job as usual

It was great to receive a letter from the WPCS this week saying that Elation had won the Paddock Trophy for being the top in hand sire for the 2018 season and also the Teify Trophy for the winner of the Ridden Sire Ratings. He is sorely missed but lives on through his stock who are Champions at top level both in hand and under saddle, and we would like to thank everyone who produced stock by him to a high standard to enable him to win this prestigious award . Also thanks to his breeder Roma Wright Smith who gave us the chance when he was a foal to purchase him .

He was sold as a foal to the Goldenwood Stud and has been on lease from them for the last 15 months ,so we were pleased to be given the opportunity to purchase him back from his owner Lynneanne Cameron . Nice to know he is no longer a lodger but a permanent resident here.

Pleased that Cadlanvalley Buzby and Libby  took the Overall Ridden Stallion Award of all Sections and also The M & M Overall Award as well
