We are hugely excited to introduce our first Junior Brand Ambassador Libby Grota of the Cadlanvalley Stud. Libby needs no introduction having won most, if not all of the major titles on offer in the flat showing world. Grandaughter of Yvonne and Howell Davies of the Cadlanvalley Stud, since hitting her teens, Libby has jockeyed some fantastic homebred ponies most notably Cadlanvalley Buzby .Her impressive tally of results include Royal Welsh Supreme Champion, multiple Horse of the Year show and Royal International Horse show wins, Champion Royal Windsor, Olympia best of Breed and many many more. We are looking forward to helping them look at their best in the show ring and at home using the best products Corscaron Horse Essentials has to offer. https;//www.facebook.com/CorscaronHorseEssentials/

We were pleased to receive a letter saying that the stud had once again won the DUNTARVIE Stud Small Breeds Owner/Breeder award for the highest M&M Small breed owned and bred by the same person at Horse of the Year Show .We receive the DUNTARVIE TROPHY and GOLD MEDAL ROSETTE at the NPS AGM ON 1/2/2020
This was Buzbys and Libbys last show together as he is now retired from ridden for stud duties .They gained an overall position of 6 th in a field of 40 ponies so a credible result and Libby won for the second year in succession the Heniarth trophy for the best Junior Rider .With four judges we were pleased that the two very respected judges awarded them the two highest marks but unfortunately the other two judges had other ideas ,but showing is a lottery and you have to accept that not everyone has the same ideas. Very proud of the both of them and everyone enjoyed and that is what counts.
Both these boys landed in their new home in Florida a few days ago ,and we wish their new owner the best of luck with them on their new journey as dressage ponies. Both big winners in this country it was sad to see them leave as we were very fond of them both, but we have novice ponies coming on and as the saying goes you cant keep them all. For the first time in the 30 year history of the Royal Welsh Winter Fair we did not enter so it was great to see the ponies there who represented our stud and the breeding of other entries come to the fore. The colt foal class second was Cadlanvalley Golden Voyager by Cadlanvalley Georgie Boy Dam Cadlanvalley Miss Prim owned by Chris Piper and then next to him in third place was Millriver Apollo owned by Julie Horrocks by our junior stallion Birkenbrook Masquerade whos first crop of foals we have been extremely pleased with . OVERALL CHAMPION GOLDENWOOD PRECIOUS GEM all Cadlanvalley Bloodlines
RESERVE OVERALL CHAMPION was a filly foal BUTLEIGH SEA PEARL owned by Ollie Jones who happened to be granddaughter to CADLANVALLEY SAPHIRE and by a stallion that we sold him Mynach Sea Scout ,so all in all a lot of contacts to CADLANVALLEY so well done all
