It was a memorable show for all the family with Libby riding the Queens Highland Balmoral Mandarin in front of her Majesty finishing 7th Overall in strong competition .Produced by Lizzie Finlayson -Briant we would like to thank her for this wonderful opportunity. After a high conformation mark he was unsettled in front of the ride judge so was deducted some marks but then went on to give a beautiful show
Our own Welsh Section A Stallion Hoekhorst Example Won the Open Mixed Welsh A and B class picking up his Olympia Liverpool Semi ticket , this super combination of him and Libby have only ever done 7 ridden shows and have picked up their Royal International HOYS & Liverpool semi at their first attempts
Libbys third ride of the day was the 14.2 Show Pony Excelsis Omnia Duceum owned by Mr Charles Morgan and produced by Team Ramsey/Horton they won the class and were Reserve Champions so concluded a lovely Royal Windsor Show
That day the stud was represented by Cadlanvalley Golden Voyager ( Cadlanvalley Georgie Boy x Casdlanvalley Miss Prim )with his owners Chris Piper and Emma Torfield he won the NPS home produced then Overall Kilmannan M and M Silver medal Champion he was also Reserve Youngstock Champion Welsh B
Another good day for Cadlanvalley Goldrush and Shelley Dobbs by winning the Palomino Championship and again awarded the Gold medal for his outstanding colour
It was also successful for Cadlanvalley Sirocco and Libby placed 3rd in a strong HOYS Qualifier so near yet so far only a few points between them he keeps knocking on the door
A debut show for the 4 year old novice Cadlanvalley Buzz Lightyear with his owner Amanda Houston ,he had a very successful day for his first show by winning his Picton Novice class and Reserve Champion also with a Junior jockey Reserve Champion in his Junior Section then he won his Dargavel Young Pony class and Reserve Overall for the NPS Silver Medal
Shelley Dobbs Cadlanvalley Goldrush was Champion Palomino gaining his Gold Award with Cadlanvalley Bentley in Reserve
Also a good day for Janpete Studs Cadlanvalley Masterclass being Reserve Overall Welsh B in excellent company
Libby ventured out with Chloe Grimshaws Cadlanvalley Sirocco who ended up winning the Welsh A and B class and Reserve Overall Open M&M Champion gaining his Royal International Qualification another successful pony for the stud that day was Cadlanvalley VIP winning the M&M F/R Class and also Qualifying for the Royal International Horse Show
A good day for Cadlanvalley Bentley being Overall Welsh B Champion for Nicole Wayman he also was Reserve in an excellent line up for what was used to be called The Cuddy in hand Championship at HOYS now called The Price Family Championship
